Heka Leka Sharing Session in Paris
Thank you to the Indonesian Embassy in France, the Indonesian Diaspora Network France, PPI Paris, the Gandong Community, and especially Timmy and Nancy Mustamu for giving us the opportunity and time to share about education in Maluku and the struggles of Heka Leka.
The nearly two-hour sharing session, led by Stanley Ferdinandus, covered the various challenges and problems of education in Maluku, and of course, the work Heka Leka and various educational initiatives from other communities and organizations in Maluku have done to realize the dream of a Smart Maluku.
The participants received positive feedback and expressed appreciation for the efforts being made in Maluku.
Practical aspects related to collaboration with Heka Leka are beginning to be considered, and it is hoped that simple initiatives, such as Distance Learning “Conference Calls,” Cultural Promotion Programs, and several other programs that can be implemented using information technology, can be the first step towards real action.
Hopefully, over time, more and more Smart Maluku friends in France will feel called to get involved and work together to advance education in Maluku Province.
This has been an extraordinary opportunity and experience. Let’s continue to work hand in hand and with passion, we will work towards our common goal: realizing the Smart Maluku vision.
