Through the Shareveling program, we invite you to get to know the beauty, history, culinary delights, and the vibrant spirit of the youth in Maluku and Eastern Indonesia firsthand.
It is important for you to know that Shareveling does not offer standard tourist tours that guarantee a perfectly smooth, comfortable journey strictly following a schedule. Instead, we offer purpose-driven travel. Our journeys are built on collaboration with local community activists.
Just like traveling with a close friend, our promise is an experience that is authentic, raw, and honest. For instance, we must be honest that inter-island travel doesn’t always run on time. We also recognize that, unfortunately, not all tourism activities bring a positive impact to the people and the surrounding environment.
But, if you are willing, allow us to share the immense beauty of this land—beauty that shouldn’t just be watched, but absorbed and loved. There is a saying in Indonesia“tak kenal maka tak sayang” (To know them is to love them). Come, get to know Maluku and Eastern Indonesia!
