Heka Leka Receives Ambulance Grant from DWP Pusat

We are proud to share exciting news regarding the strengthening of Heka Leka’s operational infrastructure. The Heka Leka Foundation has officially received an ambulance unit granted by the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Pusat. The signing and symbolic handover were conducted this past December by the Chairwoman of DWP Pusat, Mrs. Ida Rachmawati Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

As of today, the ambulance is fully ready and awaiting transportation to be shipped to Maluku. This medical fleet is a strategic asset that will enhance our operations, particularly in ensuring high medical safety standards for all our field activities.

In particular, this ambulance will play a vital role in the Jelajah Rempah 2026 event, which is scheduled to return this September. While we previously relied on external medical support, Heka Leka now possesses the independent capacity to safeguard our literacy advocates and participants more effectively.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Ida Rachmawati Budi Gunadi Sadikin and the entire DWP Pusat team for their trust. This support proves that the vision of a “Smarter Maluku” must be built on the foundation of a healthy and safe community. We look forward to seeing this fleet in operation across Maluku very soon.
