The emotional, social, cognitive and physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development and on the adult they will become. That is why understanding the need to invest in very young children is so important, so as to maximize their future well-being.
Early Childhood Education Teacher workshop which held in Saparua Island, March 22-23, 2019, focused to deepen teachers understanding about child development and gave them insight how to create a safe and friendly environment for children to learn. This topic has become important to explore, because the majoritity of ECE teachers in Maluku dont have basic background of Early Childhood Education.
There are 9 preschools in Saparua Island and 1 preschool from Nusa Laut Island who participated actively in this workshop.
By using reflection method before and after workshop, provided time for teacher to reflect about what they have done so far and new improvement that they need to do in their school.
Hope after these workshops, these 21 teachers would make difference in their schools to bring better education for children in Saparua and Nusa Laut.
Special Thanks to
